(Research):1880 Forkston Twp. Census for birth. Marriage record # 925 pg 129, both are 21 yrs old in April 1893, both are from Monroe Twp. He names his father and mother as Charles and Marilla Harris and he is a laborer. Parents: Marilla HARRIS.

(Research):Federal Census for birth date. Married first to Michael MELODY who according to a second marriage application, died about 1890. I have not been able to locate a marriage certificate for Michael and Marilla, however, I did locate a file in the Wyoming Co. Historical Society on marriage records. I have not been able to locate a death certificate or place of burial for Michael. Marilla married second to Wayne FASSETT on 12 April 1896 and to M.C. Sickler on 27 July, 1901. Don't know if they died or if they divorced... Parents: James HARRIS and Emily MILLER.
